Admissions

Application Deadlines:
Spring Semester: Extended to October 31, 2009 (Originally October 15)

For Spring 2010, the application deadline has been extended to October 31, 2009.

Admissions Calendar:

Review of applications will begin according to the following timetable.

Requirements:

  • • Second-semester sophomore status
  • • Minimum 3.0 GPA (in major and overall)
  • • Some courses carry prerequisites
  • • No prior knowledge of Spanish
  • • All students must complete the full 20-credit program, enrolling in five academic courses

Program Fee

2009/2010 Program Fee: $22,810

The following are included in the program fee:

  • • Tuition
  • • Housing
  • • Airfare from designated US cities
  • • Partial book allowance
  • • Field trips
  • • Emergency travel assistance coverage

Additional expenses to consider.

The cost for 2010/2011 has not yet been announced and will be subject to approval by the Board of Trustees at Boston University.

Boston Staff

All Boston University Guadalajara programs are administered in coordination with our Boston and the Tec de Monterrey offices. In Boston, a program manager manages the admissions procedures, and maintains contact with students prior to their arrival in Guadalajara. The Boston Office also houses administrative personnel who are responsible for everyday operations. In Guadalajara, the staff comprises administrative, academic and housing personnel.
