The Padova Language and Liberal Arts Program offers six weeks of intensive language and cultural study in a historic university town, located in the hill country 20 miles west of Venice. Students may choose one of four tracks of study described below, which include Italian language courses from the elementary to the advanced levels as well as liberal arts courses taught in English. These range from Venetian Renaissance Art and Architecture to Contemporary Italian Literature. Excursions complement the coursework. Classes are taught at Boston University's Center for Italian and European Studies within walking distance of the town's historic center. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn eight Boston University credits.
