The Padova Language and Liberal Arts Program offers six weeks of intensive language and cultural study in a historic university town, located in the hill country 20 miles west of Venice. Students may choose one of four tracks of study described below, which include Italian language courses from the elementary to the advanced levels as well as liberal arts courses taught in English or Italian. Courses include Venetian Renaissance Art and Architecture, Contemporary Italian Literature and Primo Levi and Literature of the Holocaust. Excursions complement the coursework.

Classes are taught at Boston University's Center for Italian and European Studies within walking distance of the town's historic center. Students live in Italian households and student residence halls. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn eight Boston University credits.
