Courses in the International School

Students enroll in the University of Haifa’s International School. Generally, each student takes four courses (usually three-credit hours each) a semester: a course in Hebrew or Arabic language (six- and four-credits, respectively), a course related to the culture or history of Israel and the Middle East, and courses in the student’s area of interest in the general liberal arts curriculum.

Students may also enroll in the Department of English, and art majors may enroll in the Department of Fine Arts.

Courses in the Regular Division of the University of Haifa
Students with sufficient Hebrew skills are encouraged to enroll directly in the regular courses offered at the University of Haifa.

Internship Courses

The Internship Program features directed work experiences related to the academic or vocational interests of students. The program is coordinated by a member of the International School faculty and an on-site supervisor who holds academic and professional credentials. Internship courses are awarded up to 4 Boston University credits.
