Admissions

Application Deadline:
October 15

Requirements:
• Undergraduate or graduate status
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
  (in major and overall)

Previous coursework or fieldwork in anthropology or archaeology desired,
but not required.

Students admitted to the program must be able to engage in fieldwork in hot temperatures for significant periods of time.

Program Fee

Spring 2009 Program Cost: $23,979.

The following are included in the program fee:
• Tuition
• Housing
• Board
• Round-trip group airfare from a designated U.S. city
• Field trips
• Emergency travel assistance coverage

Financial aid is available.

Boston Staff

The Boston University Guatemala program is administered by staff at Boston University. A program manager manages the admissions and orientation procedures, and maintains contact with students prior to their arrival in Guatemala. The Boston Office also houses administrative personnel who are responsible for everyday operations.
