Admissions

Application Deadlines:

Fall Semester/Academic Year: March 15
Spring Semester: Extended to October 31, 2009 (Originally October 15)

For Spring 2010, the application deadline has been extended to October 31, 2009.

Admissions Calendar:

Review of applications will begin according to the following timetable.

Requirements:

  • • Minimum 3.0 GPA (in major and overall)
  • • Grades of B or better in French
  • • Students must complete the full 16-credit program, enrolling in four/five academic courses

Level I is open to students who have completed two to four semesters of college-level French language or the equivalent.

Level II is open to students who have completed a minimum of five semesters of college-level French language or the equivalent.

Program Fees

2009/2010 Program Cost: $24,879

The following are included in the program fee:

  • • Tuition
  • • Housing
  • • Board
  • • Airfare from a designated US city
  • • Field trips
  • • Emergency travel assistance coverage

Additional expenses to consider.

The cost for 2010/2011 has not yet been announced and will be subject to approval by the Board of Trustees at Boston University.

Boston Staff

The Boston University Grenoble programs are administered by staff in both our Boston and Grenoble offices. In Boston, a program manager handles the admissions and orientation procedures, and maintains contact with students prior to their arrival in Sydney. The Boston Office also houses administrative personnel who are responsible for everyday operations. In Grenoble, the staff comprises a resident director, administrative, academic and housing personnel.
