With over seven million people and ethnic communities from all over the world, London embodies a unique mixture of history and cutting edge culture. It is home to writers, politicians, artists, musicians and designers making London a fascinating, fast-paced, and cosmopolitan experience for residents and visitors alike. The London Liberal Arts Program provides an opportunity to spend six weeks studying the many facets of contemporary British culture. The program offers a broad range of courses that examine the arts, politics, economics, social policy, and the media of Great Britain. |

Graphic Design Track

Students enroll in two courses, which are taught at the Boston University London Centre in South Kensington. Courses are taught by selected British faculty, and visiting Boston University faculty, exclusively to students enrolled in the program. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn eight Boston University credits.

Graphic Design
For students interested in the visual arts, the Graphic Design in Britain course focuses on the methods and procedures used in the practice of graphic design and examines these in relation to the culture of England and the cultural diversity of London. Designed to be taken along with the course, Advertising in the UK, this pairing offers a unique program option for students in the visual arts.
