Office and Housing

Boston University arranges household accommodations for students to facilitate their language acquisition and to integrate them directly into Ecuadorian society and culture by using the Spanish language in daily life. While in Quito, students live with Ecuadorian families, and their housing cost covers meals seven days a week, as well as laundry. Students are able to learn conversational Spanish and important daily lessons about Ecuadorian culture and customs. In the Galápagos Islands, students live on a fully equipped cruise vessel. Rustic housing is available at other field sites, and meals are provided. Please note: The program is unable to accommodate vegan food requirements at field locations.
