CAS AR 503 Archaeological Field
Methods: Survey and Excavation Norman Hammond: Ph.D., Archaeology, M.A., Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Cambridge. Dr. Hammond is Professor of Archaeology at Boston University and director of the Belize program during even-numbered years. A specialist in Maya archaeology and culture, he has been a visiting scholar in France, Germany, Russia, and England and has published widely in his field. Patricia McAnany: Ph.D., M.S., Anthropology, University of New Mexico at Albuquerque. Dr. McAnany is Professor of Archaeology at Boston University and is the director of the Belize program during odd-numbered years. She has published widely on Maya archaeology and culture, particularly on the topics of ancestor veneration and ancient economies, and receives research support from the National Science Foundation. |
