Academics
Syllabi are for course approval and reference only. Students will receive up-to-date syllabi when their courses begin. Undergraduate students enroll in two of the following courses. All courses are taught in Spanish. Each course carries four Boston University credits. Students must enroll for a total of eight credits.
CAS LS 452 Topics in Latin American Culture: Journalism, Politics and Language , 4 cr. Syllabus
Graduate students have the option of enrolling for a minimum of four credits or for a total of six Boston University credits. Courses are conducted in Spanish.
GRS LS 852 Writing in the Americas: After Borges, 2 cr.
Courses are taught by the program director and Argentinean faculty from local universities. Alicia Borinsky is a professor in the Romance Studies department at Boston University. A literary scholar, fiction writer and poet, she has published in Spanish and English in the United States, Latin America and Europe. She is a recipient of Boston University's Metcalf Award for Excellence in Teaching. |
