Menorca, Spain

Imagine exploring Iron Age, Roman, Islamic, and Colonial period archaeological sites and monuments on a beautiful, off-the-beaten-track island in the Mediterranean Sea. The Menorca field school offers students an intensive and hands-on introduction to archaeological heritage management––the study of preserving and managing the world’s precious cultural heritage––through exploration of Menorca’s rich cultural sites and diverse natural settings.

The field school is a five-week program based near the capital city of Mahon, a picturesque port city full of historical architecture and sites. Students and staff stay in comfortable apartment housing very near a beautiful beach.
