Michael Peplar is responsible for the academic programs in London. He has been on the faculty of universities in both Britain and the U.S.
He is a graduate of the University of York (BA in History and Politics and MA in Modern History) and holds a PhD in Cultural History from the University of Greenwich. He has held teaching and research posts at the University of Greenwich, the University of East London, the Open University, and Long Island University, and until recently taught on the Skidmore College London Programme. His teaching and research interests are in the fields of history, politics, and cultural studies, and his recent publications include Family Matters: A History of Ideas About the Family, Longman, London and New York, 2002.
