As program Director, Elisabetta Convento is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Padua and Venice programs. Prior to her appointment with Boston University, she worked and taught for the University of California in Padua and Trento and was Adjunct Professor at the University of Trento for five years. She has worked with study abroad programs since 1998. Specialized in Women Studies, Italian and Comparative Literature, she has published in various fields such as Linguistics, Women Studies, Italian and French Literature.
She is Adjunct Associate Professor of Italian in the Department of Romance Studies, Boston University.
For BU Study Abroad in Padua she teaches the Contemporary Italian Literature course.
