Claire–Michelle holds a BA in psychology, LL.B in Irish Law, LL.M in International Human Rights Law and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and Training. She is currently completing her PhD through Queens University Belfast where she is researching whether the European Convention on Human Rights can be utilised to further the justiciability of Social and Economic Rights in Ireland. She currently lectures undergraduate students in Griffith College Dublin and is a Teaching Fellow in the School of Law & Government at DCU. She has articles published on national and international human rights in domestic and European law journals. She has also been involved in the creation and development of the Irish Innocence Project.
