Debbie studied abroad in Iceland during her junior year of high school. In college, she studied in France for one semester. She was in the Peace Corps in Turkmenistan after graduating from college. So, at times since high school she has been proficient in Icelandic, French, Russian and Turkmen. She holds a BA in French and Language Studies and a MA from Lesley in Intercultural Relations. At BU Study Abroad she oversees Records and the Front Desk and helps with Program Management. Debbie manages the programs for Beijing, Beirut, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Keio, Kyoto, Los Angeles, Milan, New York, Rome, Singapore, Turkey, and Washington, DC.
