  • Given visa restrictions, US applicants for the spring semester are strongly advised to apply by September 15. Applicants who are non-US citizens are urged to apply before September 15, and should note that obtaining visas may not be possible for applications received after this date, especially for those from non-Commonwealth countries.   • Due to a stringent security clearance required by the British government, any student who is interested in being considered for an internship placement with Parliament must apply by September 15 for the spring semester. Additionally, only students who are enrolled in the Politics and Pre-law tracks are eligible for consideration for a placement with Parliament.

  • Summer internships in Washington are extremely competitive. Students are encouraged to submit their applications for the program prior to the application deadline. Every effort will be made to place students in internships that meet their academic interests, but students who apply after the February 15 deadline cannot be guaranteed a choice of internship.
