Update: Hurricane Irene
Changes to Group Flights Due to Hurricane Irene
Some of the Boston University Study Abroad flights scheduled to depart on August 27 and 28 have been cancelled due to Hurricane Irene, making it necessary to rebook student travelers.
If your flight is cancelled or delayed, you will be informed of the new itinerary by email. Please monitor your email carefully for any messages from Boston University Study Abroad, Advantage Travel, or your airline.
If you made your own travel arrangements and your flight has been delayed or canceled, contact your travel agent or airline to rebook.
Please remember that tens of thousands of passengers are in the same situation right now, and be patient and understanding. Also please remember that all flight issues are dealt with by the airlines and travel agents. Boston University cannot act as a travel agent on your behalf.
Please contact the program staff at your study abroad site to let them know when you will be arriving.
Finally, remember that many students will be arriving late at their programs as a result. Your participation will not be affected by a late arrival.
