ISLANDWRITE

INTRODUCTION
IslandWrite is a word processing and page layout package available on ACS. IslandWrite offers WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) word processing features similar to personal computing packages such as MW Word or Aldus PageMaker. Part of the "Island Productivity Series" of word processing, paint, and draw software, IslandWrite provides tools for creating both simple and complex documents.

Text can be imported into IslandWrite from other packages such as MS Word, WordPerfect, Frame, and Interleaf. Graphics can be created in IslandPaint or IslandDraw and pasted or imported into IslandWrite.

Type IslandWrite at the shell prompt to execute the program and open a new file.

Type IslandWrite filename at the shell prompt to edit an existing file.
